# Paid Model Auto-Switch

Read and toggle the per-account flag that continues free-model calls under paid billing when daily quota is exhausted.

When a free model's daily quota runs out, requests normally fail with a quota error. Enabling **paid model auto-switch** instead forwards the call to the model's paid fallback (for example, `meganova-ai/manta-pro-1.0` → `meganova-ai/manta-pro-1.0-Paid`) so traffic continues uninterrupted under paid billing.

This is the "Allow paid usage after free quota" toggle in the console.

## Get auto-switch status

### HTTP Request

`GET` `{API_URL}/users/paid_model_auto_switch`

### Query Parameters

| Parameter    | Type   | Description                                                                                                     |
| ------------ | ------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `model_name` | string | *Optional.* A free-model name. If passed, the response includes that model's paid redirection target + pricing. |

### Responses

**Without `model_name`** — returns the account-level toggle:

## Update auto-switch status

### HTTP Request

`POST` `{API_URL}/users/paid_model_auto_switch/update?switch_status={true|false}`

`switch_status` is a query parameter, not a body field.
