### What is MegaNova?

MegaNova is an AI inference platform that offers OpenAI-compatible serverless endpoints for text, vision, image, video, audio, and embeddings. Free lightweight models are available alongside premium models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, and leading open-source labs — all billed pay-as-you-go.

### Does MegaNova have a free tier, and how do I start with pay-as-you-go?

Yes, you can access Free Tier by adding a payment card (no charge). However, MegaNova AI also provides some models for free without requiring a payment card:

**Free Models Available:**

* **L3.3-MS-Nevoria-70B (free)**: 70B parameter model for advanced reasoning and long-form dialogue
* **L3-70B-Euryale-v2.1 (free)**: 70B parameter model optimized for creative writing and storytelling
* **L3-8B-Stheno-v3.2 (free)**: 8B parameter model for efficient text generation
* **DeepSeek-V3-0324 (free)**: 685B parameter model for advanced reasoning
* **Manta-Mini-1.0 (free)**: Lightweight dialogue-optimized model

### How does the tier system work?

* You start at Engineer Tier 1 (Free)
* Upgrade to Tier 2 to unlock free models and basic credit access by adding a payment card for verification (no charge)

### What if I don't have a payment card?

You can choose to deposit $10 to MegaNova, and you will get Engineer Tier 3.

### What is MegaNova AI's policy on refunds and credits?

If you're unsure if MegaNova AI fits your needs, join our Discord community to ask questions or email `contact@meganova.ai`. Start with our free tier (card verification only—no charge) or load just $10 to experiment. We don't offer refunds or trial credits due to processing overhead—plan ahead!
